The budgetary carrier VietJetAir on April 8 announced that it will officially commence a daily air service connecting Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi with Thai capital city of Bangkok on June 1.
Earlier in February, the airlines launched a direct route to link the country’s busiest economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City with Bangkok.
The private airline said it will perform one flight per week at first, which is scheduled to depart from Hanoi at 10.50 am and land in Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport at 12.40 pm. Return flight is due to take off at 13.45 pm and arrive in Noi Bai International Airport at 15.25 pm.
On this occasion, the airline will launch a promotional programme for flights back and forth between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok.
This is the 11th air route and second international one serviced by the carrier.
VietJetAir currently operates over 300 domestic flights with a fleet of six new Airbus A320s.
